Assets and Financial Reporting
The section is responsible for planning and controlling the acquisition, operation, maintenance, renewal, and disposal of organizational assets
Inventory and Valuation: Maintain an inventory of all municipal assets, including infrastructure, buildings, vehicles, and equipment. Regularly update asset valuations to reflect changes in market conditions or depreciation.
Asset Tracking and verification: Implement systems to track the location, condition, and usage of assets.
Financial / Trend Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and patterns in revenue, expenses, and other financial metrics
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to municipal leadership and other stakeholders Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records to facilitate transparency and accountability.
