Administration Support
Purpose: To provide support and coordination for various municipal departments, ensuring smooth and organized operations, promoting good governance, customer service, and efficient resource management.
Functions:
1.Records Department: Maintaining and managing the municipality's records and documents, ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficient access to information.
2.Record-keeping and document archiving: Managing public records requests and information dissemination. Developing and enforcing records management policies.
3.Customer Care Department: The Customer Care Department focuses on enhancing citizen engagement and satisfaction by providing responsive and efficient services to the public.
4.Administrative Support: Provides administrative support to other departments within the municipality including the provision of secretariat services to Council Committees.
5.Fleet Management: Managing the municipality's vehicle and equipment fleet to support the operations of various departments and allocation and scheduling of vehicles for departmental use.
6.Mechanical Workshop: Perform regular maintenance on municipal vehicles, including inspections, oil changes, and brake adjustments. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep the fleet in good working condition. Maintain and repair various types of municipal equipment, such as construction vehicles, public works machinery, and specialized equipment used by different departments.
